Brain and Nerve Surgery (Neurosurgery)
I was born in 1965 in Konya. After completing his secondary education at Konya Anatolian High School, I received my medical education at Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Faculty. I completed my specialization in neurosurgery at Gulhane Military Medical Academy Istanbul Haydarpasa Training Hospital in 1998 and worked as a specialist in various hospitals in Istanbul and Iskenderun for 7 years. Ankara Gulhane Military Medical Academy in 2005 I started to work as a faculty member in the Brain and Nerve Surgery clinic. I became an associate professor in 2010. I retired in 2011 and worked as a neurosurgeon specialist at Ankara Private Akay Hospital and TOBB Economy and Technology University Hospital. Between 2016-2022, I worked as a faculty member at the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, University of Kyrenia, Faculty of Medicine . I still continue to serve our people in my own office.
I have experience in peripheral nerve surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, brain and spine oncology surgery, endoscopic skull base and endoscopic spinal surgery, especially spinal surgery. Microsurgery at Gülhane Military Medical Academy for many years I was also the course coordinator.
I am an editor and a referee for many national and international journals. In addition, I have an active membership in national and international associations and groups, and I also served as a board member in the Turkish Spine Association.
I am married, have two sons and have a good command of English.
